Need help with Pounce? Start here.
Make sure your whole body is visible in the camera frame — step back until you can see your full body on screen. Pounce works best in a well-lit room. If reps still aren't counting, try switching between squats and push-ups in the alarm's settings to see which tracks best for your setup.
Pounce alarms are scheduled with Apple's AlarmKit, the same system used by the iPhone's built-in Clock app, so they ring even through Silent Mode. If you didn't hear it, confirm Pounce has alarm permission under Settings → Pounce, and check that it's actually enabled on the Alarms tab.
That's intentional, not a bug. Pounce's whole point is that you can't skip your workout — sliding to stop (or tapping the X) doesn't end the alarm, it just brings it back a few seconds later. The only way to actually stop the alarm is to tap the exercise button on the alert and complete your reps.
Confirm Pounce has camera permission under Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → Pounce. If it's already enabled, try force-quitting and reopening the app.
Yes — tap any alarm on the Alarms tab to edit its time, repeat days, exercise (squats or push-ups), target reps, and sound.
